These statues originate in a town called Marble Mountain in central Vietnam.

It is the centre of stone carving in Vietnam where this stone carving art has been passed down through the generations.

All of the products are hand carved using traditional techniques and tools.

Much of the carving there is for Buddhist temples situated in Vietnam and all around the world.

Marble Mountain is also famous for its many Buddhist monastries where monks study Shaolin Kung Fu alongside the teachings of Buddha.

Many of the carvers in this town are ex Buddhist monks who try to achieve perfection in their work by employing Buddhist philosophies to achieve the perfect masterpiece.

This can be seen in the exceptional attention to detail in all of the stone products available.

All of our products are hand carved from original high quality stone and not reconstitued or molded like some other "stone" products.

Each statue is unique so therefore please note that the statue you see on the photo may not always be the statue you receive.

We guarantee that the statue will be identical in form, but due to the nature of stone, there may not always be identical patterns on the stone.

This will only be noticeable when the piece is carved out of a patterned marble and does not apply to white marble.
